The Planning Commission meets on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. The meetings are held at the Municipal Building.

Subdivision and Land Development plans must be submitted to the Subdivision Administrator 21 days prior to the meeting date in order to be placed on the Planning Commission Agenda.

Zoning Hearing Board
The Zoning Hearing Board is a five (5)-member quasi-judicial board appointed by the Board of Supervisors to hear appeals regarding the Zoning Ordinance. The Board does not have legislative or enforcement power, and it cannot make or modify zoning policy. The Board follows the regulations in the Plainfield Township Zoning Ordinance and the Municipalities Planning Code (MPC).

Zoning hearings are scheduled when an application for a variance, special exception use, or an appeal of a Zoning Officer’s decision is submitted to the Township Office. All hearings are advertised in the newspaper.
